HemoCue Glucose Microcuvettes
The microcuvette is made of plastic and contains a cavity that holds about 5 µL of sample. The cuvette cavity contains reagents deposited on its inner walls and the blood sample is drawn into the cavity by capillary action and spontaneously mixed with the reagents. The cuvette is then placed into the analyzer in which the transmittance is measured and the absorbance and glucose level is calculated. Glucose 201 Microcuvettes cannot be used in B-Glucose Systems and vice versa.
Individually packaged microcuvettes for the HemoCue Glucose 201 Analyzer are available. The individually packaged cuvettes can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
