MED SAF’s custom fiber pad provides a larger super absorbent, cross-linked mesh gelling surface recommended for greater clinical ease and patient comfort with each heavy exuding wound dressing change. It is used in combination with MANUKApli and a secondary dressing, enables swelling and gelling upon contact with exudate and necrotic tissue while lowering pH and reducing/eliminating malodor. Clinically demonstrating 50 to 100% more antibacterial and plasmin activity than alternative products.
