The Hemoccult II SENSAelite test is a rapid, convenient, and qualitative method for detecting fecal occult blood, which may be indicative of gastrointestinal disease. The simple test card, clear patient instructions, single Performance Monitor* quality control area, and varied sample collection options make it easy for patients to understand and complete the test. The Hemoccult II SENSAelite has fewer diet restrictions than other fecal occult blood tests and these are explained in an easy-to-read format that indicates which foods and drugs the patient should avoid and which are okay. The kit also incorporates easy processing instructions for health-care professionals.
Dispensapak Plus test kits consist of 40 patient screening kits (3 test cards/slides that contain guaiac paper), two 15mL bottles of Hemoccult SENSA developer solution (developer solution contains a stabilized mixture of less than 4.2% hydrogen peroxide and 80% denatured ethyl alcohol and enhancer in an aqueous solution), applicator sticks, patient screening kit dispensing envelopes with instructions, flushable collection tissues, mailing pouches (for returning completed test cards), and general instructions. The slides are designed so patients can collect serial specimens at home from bowel movements over three days. After the patient prepares the test, it may be returned in person or by mail (using the mailing pouch) for developing and interpretation.

Note: This is not a test for colorectal cancer or any other specific diseases. Stable for 36 months from date of manufacture when stored as directed.
