Active Ingredienthydrocortisone | ketoconazoleDescriptionKC Oto-Pac is a thermally activated gel to aid in the treatment of acute and chronic otitis and associated pruritus and inflammation in cats and dogs. Combining the anti-fungal action of 0.15% Ketoconazole and the anti-pruritic action of 1.0% Hydrocortisone with the scientific concept of “rheology,” the viscosity increases as the temperature increases. Once placed in to the ear, the gel thickens to a semi-solid state, coating the epithelial surface and releasing the ketoconazole and hydrocortisone slowly over a period of up to 7 days. One 50 mL jar contains enough product to prefill (18) 3 mL syringes, which can be stored for further use.
